Germany tipped to reach final

Joachim Low’s Germany will make it to Euro 2008’s final according to France chief Raymond Domenech.

The National Mannschaft are a genuine favourite to win the title in Austria and Switzerland next month and a team that plays superb offensive football have been tipped to shine by their French rival.

The Whites finished third in the last World Cup and appear to have an emerging generation of players including Marko Marin and Mario Gomez.

France also aim to win the competition and Domenech reckons his side will face Germany in the final.

“We play to win it,” he said. “At the other side of the table, I think the Germans have the doors open to go to the final.

“I predicted they would play the last World Cup final, I am not going to be wrong every time.”
